People in their 30's railing against socialized government because of vague memories of G.I.Joe cartoon and Stallone movies from childhood?

The way citizens of Marvel/DCU turn against heroes at drop of hat to support political aspirations of villains, one wonders why save them.

Marvel/DC avoid political partisanship by making all reg. people fickle political nut-jobs rather than depict right or left-wing views.

In world where majority of people are stupid enough to let Lex or Osborn run things why not just let Galactus eat all these retards?

One thing 4 crazy assholes to compare Bush/Obama to Hitler another to put crazy asshole supervillain who compares SELF to Hitler in charge.

Bunch of white writers orchestrate storyline called Dark Reign in which bad guy runs country at same time first black POTUS takes office?

Dark Reign adopts "change" themed ads. "Accept Change" instead of "Change We Can Believe In" Submission instead of hope. Clever or racist?

Understand that Dark Reign ads are satire. Even well designed. I don't really believe intentions of Marvel are malicious just cynical.

Also understand that questioning leadership of black POTUS is not automatically racist. Still one has to consider the possibility. Everyone is racist on some level. Don't believe me? Look the word up in the dictionary. Ask yourself if you qualify as racist under most strict definition of the word.

Getting kind of tired of cynical mainstream heroes. Can never out do Watchmen so why are you wasting my time corporate comics?

Doesn't matter how clever or well written they are. Better question. If corporate superheroes only serve to depress me why do I waste MY time?

Contrast of silly costumes /overly simplistic morality against real world problems cutting edge 25 years ago. Why keep covering same ground?

Reality based approach to mainstream superheroes not going to bring in kids. Comics need new readers? If not kids then who?

People like porn. Maybe we should focus on combing porn with corporate superheroes to bring in new readers.

Superheroes are popular in cinemas but that isn't translating into new readers very well. Only means more option/merch money.

As print continues to die out and real money is found in other mediums will corporations abandon the comic book medium?

How will indie comics survive without being able to scrape off the small percentage of readers gained through superhero fans?

Percentage of superhero fans who read indie comics is very small but majority of people reading indie comics at all read both.
