Don't Stop Believin' - Page 2

I too was already sick of the song by the time The Sopranos used it. Seemed to be a song that everyone had on their iTunes, even the people that didn't listen to music from before 2002. Played at every college party, every karaoke night, etc. Likewise "We Built This City" by Starship. However, I've definitely come around on it again after seeing a badass '80s cover band called The Breakfast Club perform it perfectly at the Exit/In about a month ago.

Perhaps, but it was his choice to deploy it like a WMD.

He does get points for not being Peter Cetera, though.

Eh, the two bands I mentioned aren't BLATANTLY commercial - at least, the product is the music in and of itself, not something they're shilling for.

Of course, it's hard to believe douchebags as mercenary as Frey and Henley HAVEN'T utterly sold their souls to someone or other yet.

It may be overplayed, but I just gotta say I really enjoyed the arrangement in the pilot for Glee (yes, I just discovered it. Got any more late passes?).
