HELP: DVD Storage Cabinet?

I could have sworn I started one of these threads before, but I didn't.

Anyway, Princess Kate's media storage thread reminded me of something: I absolutely, positively need a new DVD/game storage cabinet.

I'd like something relatively small and free-standing that opens/closes, but it also needs to be sturdy - the one I have right now is flimsy as hell and pretty much fell apart 6 months after I bought it.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance, folks.

Stop shopping at Ikea and maybe what you buy won't fall apart in 6 months.

Shelving isn't that complicated a carpentry project, and you can make just what you're looking for. I recommend that route if possible.

No offense, Jake, but what do you want us to tell you? Go to WalMart and buy shelves...simple

My old video-store boss built hanging cabinet/shelves (think of big medicine cabinets) in his living room that had poster frames attached to the front of the doors. They were pretty awesome. Storage (hidden) and art combined. Space savers, functional, and nice to look at!

Yes, I want you to tell me to do what I did the first time around, except for the whole shopping at Wal-Mart thing because I'm not a terrible person.

God forbid someone start a fucking thread asking for fucking recommendations based on something that they might fucking own themselves.

I could sure use some new shelves myself, since my room is getting over crowded. I've heard there's some good shelves over at Best Buy, Jake.

Check out this link.

I have a smaller version of those Best Buy shelves and they are fine. Nothing fancy, but a step above what you'd find at IKEA. I just moved, and they held up fine in the process.

Get out, freak!
I think Bob sells these door to door.

Try Big Lots; they usually have stuff like that cheaper than anyone else does.
