As soon as I read the focus of the discussion, I knew I'd be listening.

Loved Spanish's description of the trailer park Alex lives in. "Everbody's screaming at each other and, you know, like walking around and everything." Also, "we gotta fight these guys or whatever." His delivery's the ticket.

Even though the influences behind the Gunstar's are absolutely naked, I still love them. It's a lot easier to buy those ships pack some serious firepower than it is your average Babylon 5 ship (I realize that's an obscure poll, but when I thought "disappointing sci-fi" my mind immediately went to Babylon 5.)

Federation of Pussies would make a crackin' punk band name.

Dan O'Herlihy's name deserves everyone's respect, much like the man behind it.

I too could never quite get into Babylon 5.

My pleasure. I thought the episode was very strong overall. You covered a lot of ground, going into detail without overdoing it, something very hard to do. I was particularly impressed by the research and care that obviously went into the episode; it's refreshing to hear a discussion not get derailed by a "what was this/that/he/she called?" tangent. Sounds obvious, but it's true.

The movie quotes were well-chosen and very funny punctuation marks, too. Especially, the "Death Blossom." Such is my love for the movie's score, you could literally have layered it as a bed underneath the entire episode and I wouldn't have minded.

Nice one, lads! Keep up the good work.
