Blur is much more of my sort of game, but this looks too good to not check out- http://chud.com/articles/articles/20...BLE/Page1.html

Meh, its pretty, but I vastly prefer games like Blur and the Burnouts, and if it plays as well as videos look, Split/Second.(Isn't that what its called?)

I thought EA flushed this series down the shitter when the last one bombed.

And I agree with you, alex: Driving simulation games are fucking boring. Unless they include simulated rocket launchers.

Eff you guys, gimme Forza 3. Gimme now.

Midnight Club has routinely handed this series its ass for a long, long time now.

But gosh, that is pretty.

I don't see a copy of Forza 3 in my hands JUSTIN.

Guys, Burnout and Midnight Club shouldn't really be mentioned with this. Maybe even Forza. It's made by the people who did GT Legends. It's going to weigh heavily on the sim side of racing. If Burnout is your type of game look elsewhere. The games these guys make practically demand a wheel to be played properly.

Confirmed, getting my hands on it in a week! Hopefully at an event with lots of alcohol so I can drink and drive and turn it into a crashing simulator. But yeah, I'll have impressions up as soon as I can.

Not this time- they're coming to NYC. Not the same developer anyway- I believe Slightly Mad is located in London. I'll definitely let you folks know the next time I head anywhere, it was really fun meeting up with the LA guys last time.

Sounds like it's about what I expected: Pretty, and suited for the hardcore sim fan. Like you, I'll pass.

BLUR, please!

Bought this today. And I have to say, its one of the most fun racing games I've played recently. Its definitely a sim, but it does have certain arcade-ish pieces to it. EA has given a series that I used to love, but have found myself disapointed with these last couple releases, a new set of legs. Definitely check this out if you liked Grid, probably the game it resembles the most. Also, the car list is awesome, and the ability to upgrade you car is quite cool.

My usual question remains. What the F**K is up with driving sims, games etc. Before you get to a curve your hard on the accelerator, and your car AUTOMATICALLY slows to a crawl? Brakes on its own constantly. Why the F? do they even give us the controls for the gas and brakes if it is not going to let us USE the gas and brake ourselves? There should if nothing else be an options in the settings for a person to be able to actually play the game and not just steer. I need a heavy dose of COD Modern Warfare 2!

Many racing games come with all manner of driving "assists". Most of them are rooted in reality, so you'll have the option to turn on and off anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control. And it sounds like Need for Speed Shift is one of those games that includes an "auto braking" assist. So yeah, I never saw the point of that, and you need to turn that shit off right away.

Thanks, I'll go back into settings and see what is able to be turned off.

When I have reached certain levels it states I have won a car, but I can not find any of the cars I have won in my garage or at the car lot, what gives?
