Both Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and Bad Ronald are being shown as a double feature in Philly at the Sedgewick Theater on Saturday, Sept. 19th. Haven't seen either, but definitely going to try and make it. An Exhumed Films joint.

Info from Exhumed:

Doors: 7 PM
Show: 8 PM
$10
At the Sedgwick Theatre
7137 Germantown Ave.
Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia
(Free parking in lot across the street. Accessible by R8 Allens Lane train stop as well as the #23, #18 or HX bus.)

The Sedgwick Theatre was a gorgeous, huge 1920s Art Deco movie/vaudville palace. Now it's semi-dilapated but on the rise. The theatre, through the hard work of Flickering Films, is now host to a series of cultural events, many centered around film and video. Exhumed Films is happy to be working with them and hopes that the future will bring more of our screenings at the Sedgwick. It's our intention to show some of our rarest, most obscure prints at this venue. Join your pals at Exhumed Films and support the DIY, grassroots efforts of Flickering Films.

I really wish they could just work something out with Dave from MonsterMania. Harry at Exhumed has so many great prints. I'm sure the two of them could work out a couple of midnight shows at the Lowes theater up the street from the con.
I gotta bring these two together.

Make it happen, Bob! Because this guy doesn't want to drive to Germantown.

More to the point, I don't want to drive that far home afterward!

I can't work that kind of magic. Maybe we can call Clinton in to negotiate.
