My Dell XPS Generation 3 lasted me quite awhile. It's been a good computer. Decently "high end" for its time. ATI X800XT graphics card. 3.4 Ghz processor with 2GB of RAM!!!
But all that changed when I purchased "Call of Duty World at War" last November and couldn't play it. I wasn't in a huge rush then to get a new one but now that COD: Modern Warfare 2 is coming... I NEED a new one. It's been ordered and should be here by the end of the week.
It's contents:
EVGA X58 SLI LE Socket LGA1366 Motherboard
Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz Retail Processor
12GB Corsair XMS DDR3-1333 Triple Channel Memory
Hitachi 1TB SATA Internal Hard Drive
Ultra LSP750 750-Watt Power Supply
BFG GeForce GTX 260 OC MAXCORE Video Card
It's gonna be heaven having something that runs fast. I might actually decide to do some video editing now. I figure I'll turn the old computer into a storage device or a make shift media center.
