The first four seasons were the best then it kind of went downhill. For me though the second and third series had some classic eppisodes that really punched above their weight. Thanks for the Memory for example is one of the best eppisdoes of any TV show I have ever seen. The reveal behind the gravestone carving (to the memory of the memory of Lisa Yates) is just brilliant writing.
Also much love for marooened, every show has it's two charaters stranded in one place epp but the conversations Lister and Rimmer have are gold in this one.
Wasn't overly sold on the new eppisodes recently but at least I still have my season 2 and three dvds.
