Futurama: The Complete Series

I don't see how this can be complete if they are making more, and I have everything in the box. But Jesus, what a box!

Sets like this make me hate that I already own the complete series. I hope they sell that case separately so I can put all my DVDs in it.

Also, does it have the movies in it? Because if so, it could stand to be a little less complete.

Looking at the dates on the package, probably so.

I never bought any past Bender's Big Score. The only way I'm buying the others is if they collect the 4 flicks together... cheaply.

What´s all that Futurama movie talk here? Never heard of that. The series did end with "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings". Period. Everything else is crazy talk.

And now I have to spend some money. Excuse me.

They should have made a really limited edition container where you removed the discs from Bender's shiny metal ass.

OoooH! I like that idea. Yeah the movies are in there. And Jan is right. The movies are just okay (Bender's Big Score being my favorite). I too wish they would just sell me that damn box. I wanted to quote Yor and say, "Damn talking box" but that would be misleading. It does have a detachable antenna for the top of his head though. Nice touch.

The movies really aren't okay. Bender's Big Score was okay, the rest are almost unwatchable.

Damn that box set looks amazing. I didn't mind the movies, but I sure as hell wouldn't watch them again, apart from maybe Beast With A Billion Backs which got by for me on the pure outlandishness of the concept.

So I should cancel my DVR's planned recording of "Into the Wild Green Yonder" then?

It's worth a watch for free I guess. They got progressively worse, which is too bad. Bender's Big Score is the only one that didn't feel raped by the requirement to split them into episodes later.

I like the way you think.

Agreed except for David Cross wanting to make love to the universe in the second movie, that was kind of funny.

Just realized that Bender's head is inside a head-jar, which really doesn't make sense but looks damn good anyway.

I really disliked Bender's Big Score, I LOOOVED Beast with a Billion Backs, merely because the thought of it is so pulp-sci-fi and disgusting that it's awesome. I recall laughing a lot in the third one (the cave full of Morks), but I never bothered with Wild Green Yonder.
