In Fox's defense (not that there's much worth defending), we've all see footage of Bay humiliating crew members with a megaphone, in front of the entire cast and crew. And we've seen the footage where he intentionally misleads Shia LeBeouf about how a scene is going to be shot, and scares the shit out of him with a hydraulic apparatus (to be replaced with a Decepticon in post).

Bay's a fuckhead, and I'm completely sure that shooting those films was a nightmare. But you don't say "Hitler" in reference to a colleague of the man whose passion projects include Schindler's List.

Fox's replacement comes across much better in the clip at the bottom of that link.  She looks like she's actually a part of the movie instead of looking like spliced-in footage of a Victoria's Secret ad.

I grow weary, though, of the media and the TF3 press parade trying to brainwash me into finding her attractive. It ain't working. At all.

I don't think Rosie is hideous by any stretch, but they catch her at certain angles and she looks downright weird.  Something is going on with her mouth that just throws off her entire face.

This honestly looks like a mug shot of a girl who got arrested after she got into a fight at a club.  It's like someone socked her in the mouth and it swelled up.

You just know if Transformers 3 doesn't do so hot Fox will think, "Well...that's because I wasn't in it!" as she's getting those fries ready at In-N-Out.

Just watch that clip of her with Shia and Patrick Dempsey.  She comes across just fine.  It's really just those weird shots they chose for the trailer.

But again I have to come out on Fox's side in this. In the batlle between crazy and overconfident chick vs. giant doucerbag with idiot savant levels of technical proficiency I have to go with the chick. And if Spielberg takes offense at her Hitler comments I take offense at him putting his name on TF2.

I'm not saying that he doesn't objectify women. A lot of porn is more respectful towards women than Bay's films. But he does always make them look good.

Not to defend Bay, but Gabrielle Union wasn't overtly objectified in Bad Boys II.  She's in a bathing suit at one point, but it's no more in-your-face than it would be in any other movie.  I'm not sure if that's due to Union being the sort of woman who doesn't tolerate that shit, or perhaps something else.  I might be way off-base here, but I'm pretty sure she's the only Black female lead he's ever had in one of his movies, and she is the one who is ultimately filmed with the most respect.  Coincidence?

Claire Forlani was done up pretty casual in The Rock.  Kate Beckinsale looked lovely in Pearl Harbor, but then... that was Pearl Harbor.  Hahaha.
