Overclocking

Any one got any advice ? I will be overclocking an I7 920, using the eleet tool (I have an EVGA x58 MB, Zalman 9900, Mushkin Reline 6 gigs, Haf case with 900 W P/S). Online research has made it not look so bad, but any advice in normal speak here would be appreciated. I also thought about overclocking the video card (EVGA 295) using the tool that came with it. Not sure if it is worth it due to heat concerns, but it might be interesting to see !

I was awful conservative when I built PC’s (I’ve since switched to a Mac Pro), and only ever overclocked rigs that were on their way out. Basically, it’s the rare chip that can be overclocked so significantly—without spending an arm and a leg on cooling—that you’ll notice it in anything other than 3DMark scores.

But I imagine I’d be in the minority.
