Invincible Tiger: Legend of Han Tao

It doesn't seem like a very popular title but being the huge martial arts fan that I am I've been having a lot of fun with this title. Yes, it gets repetitive, adds nothing new to the beat-em-up genre, and is kind of expensive at $15 but I'm really digging the old-school grindhouse vibe. I think the graphics are decent and the soundtrack has got a really fun retro chop-socky feel to it that I dig.

I think if you enjoy beat-em-ups you should at least give the trial a shot.

The soundtrack is available to download for free if you look it up on google.

This looked to be something that might be worthwhile; tell me, how is the moveset? It hardly seems worth the effort if you're limited in your kungfu. Do you unlock the secret of the flaming fist, or the cactus kick? Some shit like that is all I need.

Totally forgot about this.

Fired it up a couple of minutes ago just to check out the 3D. Nothing exciting. Looks extremely pixaleted. I was using a shitty pair of Red/Cyan glasses. I didn't really give the game a fair chance after not being impressed by the 3D though.

On a side note though, my glasses came with NOTLD 3D and have been reverse of the directions on the glasses. So I'm wondering if I was missing out on something.....

I was kinda excited about this game when I read the article by Alex that had a preview trailer in it. The moves looked cool and flashy, the animation looked smooth as butter and the game seemed to have a nifty retro feel to it.

Fast forward to me trying out the demo and the any hopes I had of a decent to deep move set with lotsa flashy martial arts combo's vanished quickly. The game is fun for what it is - A twitch beat up em. I was just expecting more, especially at that price point. Will pick it up when it the price eventually drops in a year or so. The game is still fun enough, and the co-op factor really helps it. Now just fix the price.

Yeah, I agree that the price should have been 800 not 1200 but I still think it's a fun little game. I also think they wasted their time with the whole 3D integration and should of instead focused their energy on having more moves or better graphics.

Agree. The 3d aspect is a waste of time.
