Well if anything this just means Letterman won't let it drop for a while.

Man, I know I said the outrage was a bit ridiculous in the other thread but Leno has been a total doucher about this. Like, HUGE doucher. I'd love to know what kind of messed up evidence he has for Zucker to be sucking his cock so hard.

This is the most tasteless thing I have seen in a long long time.

Just epic pandering and pleading and whining and explaining and STOP.

Part of Leno's monologue tonight;

Quote:
“NBC and Conan O’Brien made an announcement earlier today — as many of you know, Conan is leaving the network. His final show airs tomorrow night. I have chosen to stay on the Titanic. I don’t believe the iceberg is that big. The biggest ship, this ship will never sink.”

“Apparently we’ll be back on ‘The Tonight Show’ March 1st after the Olympics, so that’s pretty much where we are.”
The biggest ship, WTF?

Gah! I can just picture this fuckhead in his first show back on The Tonight Show joking about taking a break for seven months.

I puked a little in my mouth when I saw that clip. First Brown winning Mass. and now this. It's been a bad fucking week.

I suppose we all deserve this for wishing his show to do so bad.

The thing is I think his show might have worked had he actually done something different with the show. More of a true variety show not just his version of the tonight show at a different time.

This show was destined to fail. Everybody knew it, including Leno. I'm with Stern, I think Leno insisted on the 10pm slot with the intent of sabotaging Conan's lead-ins and using the affiliates to campaign for his reinstatement.

As for why they basically just did the Tonight Show without a desk, I think it's because they had already tried a true variety show earlier in the year and it failed even more epically than Leno's show did. When you can't get people to tune into Jane Krakowski stripping onstage, you know the network variety show is dead.

Is Jay Leno the vicar of Satan? I am seriously considering the possibility at this point.
