Longest Movie Romances

I was thinking about this today while watching a piece of Waking Life:

Jesse and Celine's relationship was shown in three films: Before Sunrise, Waking Life and then the sublime Before Sunset. That's pretty cool. I then tried to think of other romantic relationships that appeared in as many as three films. What I came up with:

1. Cornelius and Zira in the first three Planet of the Apes films (and then their love child was the star of the fourth and fifth, pretty cool.)
2. Peter Parker and Mary Jane in the three Spidey films. This one is kind of lame.

Any others with three films?

We don't see them in Ocean's 13, but Clooney is still with Julia Robert's character. Even if it's not their fight.

'The Thin Man' and all of its sequels came immediately to mind. There are 5-6 films in this series, all of which feature the charming romance between Nick and Nora Charles.

And I'd totally support Richard's assertion regarding the Bond/Moneypenny romance. It's definitely there.

Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz in The Fountain. Sap-tastic choice. EDIT: I just realized I made a double-entendre right there. Tree.

Clark Kent/Lois Lane trumps Parker and Mary Jane in the movie world in every way. Even in the goofy-as-hell Superman Returns.

Not to mention that William Powell and Myrna Loy went on to star in 14 films together. Not all of them as Nick and Nora...still cool though.

That's pretty awesome, but I'm really not surprised. The chemistry between the two of them is incredibly strong.

I own the whole series boxset, and strongly recommend it to everyone. Screwball comedy meets mystery meets silly husband/wife romance, and yes, Myrna Loy and William Powell had magnetic chemistry. And the second one has a young Jimmy Stewart as the killer!

Hannibal - Clarice Starling (well I guess u can say 3 films since Red Dragon added that little nod)
Blade - Whistler (more fatherly love, damn u guys for taking all the good ones)
