Wilson Porn Movie? Awesome.

My DVR cut off the last minute of the episode though... What did House say as he and Wilson walked out of the Hospital?
I can't remember what exactly they were saying as they left, but as the exited Cuddy walked into frame and said "Have someone take that down" and the camera panned up to reveal a banner style poster of Wilson as the love faun, or whatever he was.

"Be not afraid."

When did we learn that R. Lee Ermey wasn't House's biological dad? That was news to me.

Last season during the funeral episode. (House and Wilson's rebonding road trip) House obtained a hair sample from the open casket no less.

I don't know who all was watching (I hate these long breaks between new episodes), but last night's House was outstanding. Loved the stuff between Taub and Foreman (and I generally don't care for either of those characters), we got some rare, genuine reflection from House to a dying patient, Wilson's Truth or Dare with 13 was great as well. I'm liking the departure from the traditional episode framework this season. The Cuddy episode and this episode both didn't really have a diagnosis in the traditional House sense, but both of those episodes are now among my favorites. Maybe they'll break from the norm more often.

Yeah I hate such long breaks between episodes. I mean it's been nearly a month.

Loved 13 flashing Taub on her way out.

Since Hugh Laurie was directing, sometime you wonder if these actors can really direct...

But there were some extremely nice shots in last night's ep. Loved the overhead shot of Taub and Foreman lying in that brown square. And more squares as Wilson and 13 are framed in the cafeteria windows.

Next week's episode at the renaissance fair looks to be comedy gold.

It's funny but not surprising that this procedural seems like a better show without the procedural element. The case-of-the-week is almost always the weakest part of the show. Too bad it's not on HBO/Showtime/FX, where they might have had the balls to minimize that stuff long ago.

Wow! The electronics dude from CSI Miami was the King and Libby from LOST is Wilson's Ex-wife. I had a full on geek out.

House and the tranny was indeed hilarious.

Taub is such a whore. I actually like his character, but wish they didn't go down this "is he faithful or not" storyline. I liked Taub as the normal guy.

Must he be miserable like the rest of the gang?

I love how I'm the only one watching HOUSE anymore! Anyway, seeing House interact with the gang afterhours is actually pretty great.

But I really don't want to see HOUSE the drunk either.

Eh, I watch House every week, but it's really not the kind of show that draws a lot of commenting. I just tune in because I've developed an affection for the characters.

But agreed, I don't need to see House turn into an alkie now. I did like that he finally pretty much told Cuddy point-blank that it's not friendship he needs from her.

Yeah, I wish they'd just get rid of the medical mystery. Always so pointless. The characters are the only thing that make the show interesting.

And I'll also agree that I don't need to see House with a new addiction.
Unless it's an addiction to singing Karaoke with Chase and Foreman.
I'm still watching. And yeah, House the Alcoholic can't happen.

The Karaoke scene was pretty great so was House trying to save Taub's marriage....napkin rings...

I thought 13 having martini after martini bought for her at the lesbian bar was all kinds of hilarious.

That, and I also liked her reaction in the background when the patient claimed "I'm as straight as any of you!"

they should also give the gay receptionist a larger role. That dude could probably hold his own against House anyday.

Very nice psych analysis of HOUSE last night..

wonder where House will go to get his answers?
Wasn't a fan of last night's show. I thought for a while the mexican dude was just in House's head.
I enjoyed it actually. Of course, that may simply be because the medical mystery took a back seat.

Went to take my mom in for an MRI yesterday, and saw this in the parking lot...

Season finale was amazing. I think it's possibly one of the best hours of episodic television I've seen in years. They started the season strong and ended strong.
Yeah, pretty solid finale. Still think he was halucinating at the end though. I mean, he heard almost everything he wanted to hear.
I think every one of my favorite episodes of this show are ones where the "mystery" took a backseat. A show where House changes jobs every season, loses more than one patient per season, and sometimes solves the case on the first guess would probably be my favorite show on TV. As it is, great finale anyways!

House always delivers on season finales. Strong emotional stuff.

I don't think I like the idea of losing "13" for some time off though. Let's hope she's back next year.
If they wanted to resolve the Cuddy and House relationship by having them end up together, they should have made last season's finale real rather than a Vicodin-induced hallucination. The end of this episode was basically the same as that, only it took a whole year to come back to and wrapped up neater and with a less dramatic payoff. When the "real life" version wraps up neater than his drug-induced hallucination a year before did, that's sort of weird and anti-climatic.
I still think he either took the drugs and is halucinating or he's still trapped under the rubble with the girl after the 2nd collapse.

They almost wrapped it up too neat.
