Actually, he has two adopted children because his wife has gone through 2 miscarriages.
And acting in Broadway/Musicals = Gay is an already tired and debunked joke,

They're a pretty awesome couple actually. Deborah-Lee Furness is actually a very good actress in her own right here in Oz and has been for years, she essentially put her own career on hold when Hughs career took off.

Actually, i've been wanting to check that "Correlli" series they both did since some time now...no luck having my brother finding a dvd of it in his trips down under though.
However, this is the same brother who in 4 trips there still cant get me a dvd of "Chopper".

I had thought OTHER people said he was gay, and my understanding was that THEIR REASONS for such an assumption were based on his musical activities.

Again, writers on this very site referenced this with jokes they made during the run up to Wolverine. I did not know it was some uncommon thing to think Hugh Jackman was gay.

On Mad Men the other week a wife realized her husband was gay after seeing his enthusiasm for a musical! Give me a break. It's a common assumption. I already said that if I was wrong, then I learned something new today.

And finially, I am from Massachusetts USA. I do not care if someone is straight gay or blue like in Avatar. I am a big Jackman fan. I've liked him ever since I saw X Men 3 times in theaters back in 2000. Between the fountain and the Nolan magician movie, he is one of the action stars I feel is most a real actor. He was excellent in The Deception as well, even though that was a bad movie.

I even watched Australia based entirely on his presence in the film. So me assuming he was gay, even if it was in error, was no attack on the man. Ok?

I agree. I feed like fucking suffocating when I open a thread and see it filled to the brim with her endless excuses and defensive posts. She'll post one thing utterly stupid and then people jump on her from all sides (equally stupid) which leads to a thread consisting of her countering all the attacks again and again. Sorry, but she is worse than any malware that has ever plagued this forum. There I said it, and that will be my last response to anything regarding IT forever!

I'd much rather be writing about the hotness of Hugh Jackman then the antics of PK, but I have to come to her defense here. I could see how someone could come to think the "Jackman is teh gay" after joining on these forms. Especially when Devin throws out something like this in the "Christian Bale is intense" thread:

Jackman gay rumours have been floating around for ages, which isn't particularly surprising because, even discounting the musical theatre factor, the guy gives off a distinctly gay vibe.
