Dead Rising 2 - Page 3

I can find a shotgun without any issue. The sniper rifle is what I'm missing.

Also, magazines. There's got to be some better way to store them.

The sniper rifle's in the Pallisades mall, second floor gun shop. If you can attract a gaggle of survivors, arm them all with shotguns for instant murdergang.

I never thought about turning them into a murdergang. I usually use them for bait.

You will marvel at how wrong you've been doing it.

Well at 6-2, I don't know how many people are left. Do the survivors have unlimited ammo?
Give a weapon to any survivor and it will never run out of ammo or break. They absolutely slaughter most bosses. Often I didn't have to even participate in the fight.

Although I did manage to stand watching 7 survivors with sniper rifles and AKs take out the sheriff and then step in for my only attack: an epic killing blow to the crotch. Adding injury to insult to injury is how Chuck rolls, baby.

Also, Seanbaby's review = Dead Rising 2 has fetal alcohol syndrome (in a good way): http://www.cracked.com/blog/6-signs-...ohol-syndrome/

That sums up my feelings about the game. I'm having more fun with it now that I've found/earned more combo cards. Still can be a tough game to love at times.

Perfect review. I'm only a few hours in but can see all this shit coming. Amazing how Capcom ignored every criticism of the first, and just knew that Case Zero would be better in every way. Ahh well, maybe the next dlc will be worth it, at least.

Thanks, guys. As far as bang for your buck goes, Case Zero is astonishing. I sort of wish you could hop over to still creek during a DR2 playthrough.

When you beat the game. Can you replay with your same levels. Sort of like how your shit ported in from Case Zero?
Yeah, same deal
Cool.

I think that I can 1000/1000 this before the 26th.
Ok....so this is fucked up. You know how when you're in the safe house you can't actually use your weapons? Well now that shit is happening to me everywhere. I can't use any of my weapons, i can't drop anything, all I can do is eat food. I went to another area hopin it would reset. Nope. I let zombies kill me thinking it would reset. As soon as I picked up food Chuck was useless again. What the fuck?! Anyone have any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else?

Here's a pre-order avatar code that's wasted on me:

For a male avatar - J7G48-QM4BJ-984TQ-F3M93-Q99D8
For a female avatar - D3DHH-CY6J9-79K4V-24PJY-8CCCM

These codes will give you the Chuck Greene Avatar items. Each claim code is unique and can only be used once.

How to Use Your Code:
Step 1: Sign in to Xbox LIVE from the Xbox Dashboard on your Xbox 360 Console
Step 2: Press the "Ring of Light Button" in the middle of your controller
Step 3: Navigate to the Marketplace blade
Step 4: Select "Redeem Code"
Step 5: Enter the code above (that matches your avatar's gender) exactly as shown above
Step 6: Your download will begin to your selected storage device

Once the promotional code has been entered correctly click "Continue." Once you accept the terms you will be taken to the download screen.

I picked this one back up after not being strong enough to beat it the first run, then I started a new game.. (Possibly overwriting a friends save on my machine) but then I realized my leveling up was in vain as my previous save file was level 36 whereas I was working on a level 18 character.

I decided to play my higher level save, and remembering that I've downloaded the DLC skills packs (except the Ninja pack, I got that one free with my pre-order).

I then realized while looking online for what the skills packs add to my character, that I can stack the skills provided by wearing one item from each of the 4 costumes.

So my Zombie slaying outfit is pretty sweet I think.
