Trauma

Good cast, and it's from the producers of Friday Night Lights, although there's no claim of reaching that show's high calibre. Still, looking forward to seeing Kevin Rankin (Herc), and tonight it looks like we get to see Buddy Garrity get mutilated - something any true FNL fan has prayed for early and often.

The Tv spots are laughably bad..."I love my job."

Subotai starts this thread. Color me thoroughly unsurprised.

Why?

Dude, you're being weirdly bitchy on the boards lately. You okay?

Ah,he just knows my love for all things FNL.

I was disappointed with the lack of time for Kevin Rankin tonight, but otherwise it's a solid, if pedestrian drama. They need to put more of an edge to it, like Cliff Curtis asking if the kid was going to make it with the mother right next to him. As it is, Sheridan, Luke, Curtis and Rankin are enough to keep me coming around for the time being.

But, he really does.

was that "i love my job" line even in the premiere? i didn't notice it, but i wasn't paying much attention.

there was nothing really BAD about it, but it moved too fast to really grasp what kind of show it will be. i liked seeing several faces from FNL though. with the constant barrage of medical shows it's nice to see one that will focus on what happens outside of the hospital, although i predict a disaster happy San Fran (can't wait for the inevitable earthquake episode)

Don't plan on watching this, but Cliff Curtis is cool!

This was entertaining enough. I'm kind of where Subotai is, where the cast is enough to keep me coming back for a few weeks. Needs more Herc and Randall Flagg. Also, I have a little crush on Katie Connor.

Stereotypical Latin Chick can die, though.

I kinda liked it more than I thought I would.

This is one of those shows where if it was just thismuch better, Cliff Curtis would be one of the breakout stars of the season.
