L.A. Noire - Page 10

This game's gonna be $10 for either PS3 or 360 at Best Buy on 1/1 only, if anyone else wants it.  I might snag with part of a Christmas GC.

That's pretty crazy considering the game only came out in May. I rarely do the first day purchase thing any more, so I love when the price drops like a stone within a couple of months. Happens so often now.

So... I completed the main story campaign. Still have to finish like 10 street crimes and find a couple of newspapers.

But, other than that, I'm done.

And... That's it? That's how it ends?

Wow.

I don't mean that in a good way.

Ooo Lordy that's just what I thought. Quite possibly one of the most disappointing games I've ever played. Some stunning visuals, a poor story and an almost broken game mechanic ( with some admittedly exciting tech)

Id just be parroting what other cleverer people have already said if I went on but yeah... I'm convinced a lot of those who gave 10/10 reviews are regretting them now.

Also why in the name of God would a group of men conducting a criminal conspiracy, film said conspiracy (from multiple angles), edit the footage together and then leave it in a house. That is the poorest exposition dump in anything, ever.

It's a game that understands the words and not the music.

And package it in the form of a newsreel, no less.

Also... I don't think that if you want to rip off the climactic sacrificial moments of a classic movie, that movie should be Mark Robson's Earthquake.

There are better movies.
