Moviemaker BRETT RATNER lost his virginity to a paraplegic dangling from a tree - and now he has turned the sexual encounter into a scene in his latest film.

"It's probably my most personal film. When I sent the original script, which is autobiographical, the producers would not let me film it because, in the original ending, she (the girl) is a cripple, and they have sex as she's hanging from a tree in Central Park."

Anton Yelchin just lost a little bit of cred for playing young Brett Ratner in that terrible looking movie, which I will probably see for James Caan and Eli Wallach.

Wait... so a joke I've known and been telling for over 20 years actually happened to Ratner?

Do a little search online, and you can find 100 variations:

"A man sees an attractive woman at a party and asks her to dance. He’s shocked to discover she’s paraplegic, and offers later to escort her home.

They sit on the porch of her house for awhile and soon become intimate. She wants to have sex, but because her legs are paralyzed, she tells the man to prop her up against a tree in the backyard. She hangs from a branch and they make love.

Afterward, the man carefully carries her back to her wheelchair and she goes inside for the night. As the man turns to leave, he's aghast to see the woman’s father standing on the porch and begins to apologize profusely for taking advantage of his daughter.

But the father dryly responds: "No need to apologize son, most of the men she has sex with leave her hanging in the tree."
