Paul also got a ton of stuff in the later years. Loved the one where Sam dated one of Paul's old girlfriends, who was a chubby chaser.

Phil Perlman is delightfully still alive. Was cool to see him show up on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia a few years back.

Ha! To this day, apropros of nothing, I will occasionally say (using my best french accent), "Woody, I am going to steal your girlfriend."

Frazier's snipe hunt was a damn funny episode. In truth, he was one of the most consistently funny characters on the entire run of the show.

Man this thread makes me want to watch some Cheers. I might have to do a little hunting around the channels and set up my DVR.

From Ken Levine's blog, some may find this interesting.

"Bar Wars V" when the gang is back at Cheers following the funeral and Sam proposes a toast to Gary, callng him a good adversary and a good friend, and that he will miss him, and ends by saying "Kinda wish I'd said those things at the service." -- To which Frasier replies "It certainly would have been more appropriate than 'You can come out of there now, Gary.'"

I wanna say it was the same Bar Wars with Wade Boggs where Carla goes into Gary's Old Towne Tavern and spots Al having a drink.

"Al, why aren't you at Cheers?"

"This isn't Cheers?"

So perfect.

This gets my vote for the best sitcome EVER. And I'm partial to the Rebecca years. But I love the Diane years just the same. I always hated how they turned Fraiser back into wuss once he got his own show. He was a beer swilling regular guy on Cheers then in a matter of months he reverted to a wine sipping sophisticate...ugh

Too many great moments to name but here are some of my favorites...
Woody thinking Gary can make it snow as a prank

Fraiser reading the bar guys classics like " A tale of two cities" but amping up the action like "an apache attack chopper pumping hot lead into the crowd"

Sam telling Carla to "get the babe kit"

Harry the Hat destroying the Olde Town tavern

The guys and Kevin McHale counting the floor rivets at the Boston Garden

Cliff having to stage a jeep accident when he left mail in the bar when it burned down.

The video they made trying to convince Woodys dad to let him stay in Boston.

The entire thanksgiving episode
