Awesome shirt. Who would've thought Criterion made clothing?
I see this shirt as us getting one step closer to Hausu on DVD.
That clip was nuts. Does it make any more sense to a Japanese audience, I wonder?

Hello wallpaper.
The only sad thing about it is the MC CHRIS thing. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Being a Brit I ask with all sincerity... will any of you be my Paypal?

I want that ALIEN poster in the worst possible way.
Crap, those are all amazing. I wish they were selling them online as well, as I'm not sure I can get over to Melrose tonight.
No chance of any L.A. Chewers picking up an extra Gremlins poster for li'l ole' me, I suppose?
^ And me, dammit....I'll do things for that Gremlins poster; things you never even dreamed of!!
Does anybody have any idea what the prices on these are? If they're reasonable I'd reimburse someone for grabbing a copy of the Alien poster for me, as I'm definitely not going to be able to get out there tonight.
Well, I do believe the show has started now. Shit.
The detail going as far as including the Yum Yum bar is one of the many things making that poster awesome.

That cover of General Schwarzkopf had me going all sorts of "...the fuck?".

Think I'm gonna have to buy this, then put some parental password on this "Geek Chic" feature. This feature is just so awesome, yet so heartless with my wallet.

I've been waiting for an American equivalent to 'Shock! Horror! Astounding Artwork From The Video Nasty Era' Sweet!!

i got a vhs copy of penitentiary II at a salvation army a few years back for like 35 cents. i would have spent hundreds for that cover art. its absolute gold!

Kinda turned it into a personal nostalgia jerkoff, but these are too great not to share.

Film Reel Clocks

Iwantoneofthose.

Enjoyed reading about the love of working with film. I think it's a mindset/discipline that shouldn't be forgotten. To cut and move footage is so easy and thoughtless with digital non-linear editing. You put more care and consideration into each cut if it's a major hassle to do so.

At least, that's how I imagine cutting film to be. Hahahaha.

My mom actually got me something similar to those for my birthday earlier this year. It's not homemade, but it's a film canister, and a replica of a film strip serves as the pendulum. It's pretty sweet. I'd post a picture, but I don't have any. I'll see if I can fix that, though.

Edit: Okay...not the greatest quality, but I got a pic:

Well, damn, I would've got one of those for bendrix had I seen them earlier.
I want a film reel clock for christmas. Is Santa still alive?
I would take it apart to see what's on the film. We used to find all kinds of weird shit on reels of 16mm center-scratched sound fill - Blade Runner, Husbands, crazy stuff.

WTF is with the Ben Affleck meme happening on the comments? Lame.

I love my daughters too much to do this to them:

Or, do I? So long as I don't get them the red one...

Why don't you?
Probably because I'd have to set up an account.

-Edit-

Bought.
I would give you shit for that...

... but it's pretty much the same reason I'm not jumping on that shirt either. hahahahaha.

I hate having accounts here/there/everywhere.
