Miley Cyrus wants her privacy, so she posted this rap video to YouTube telling her fans why she canceled her Twitter account. Billy Ray didn't take it so well and Tweeted for her to come back.



Yeah, I only posted this to make an achy breaky heart joke.

That is really effing creepy. What kind of father would PREFER his daughter is interacting with millions of strangers online? That family has all sorts of issues (or heck, maybe it's Disney that's really behind the push for her return to twitter)

The CNN lameness is tolerable, since it's clearly motivated by money and public demand. The hundreds of youtube videos devoted to grown men and women defending Miley's move just makes my entire body sad.

My whole body is sad from the entire thing. We deserve more from our news channels in this country. It's been on a slippery slope since the heyday of OJ and Lorina Bobbit(and before, no doubt, just that's when I really started noticing tabloid journalism). The twitter thing is the bottom of the barrel. It would be nice one of these stations grew a pair and attempted to reverse the trend.

I actually find myself shocked and stunned that I pity Billy Ray that he's so devoid of anything approaching dignity that he's able to humiliate and embarass himself on such an international scale by acting basically as his own daughters glorified sidekick (and simultanious exploiter) with such seemingly oblivious abandon.

How low do you have to get honestly?

The guy's the lowest of the low - I wonder what his wife thinks of it all? You never hear from her.

Miley's mom is her manager and pretty much goes with her on all her auditions and stuff.

Looks like Noah is starting the celebriwhoring early. She's nine years old and is posting sexy photos of herself on Twitter (no naked or undie pics, just sexy faces at the camera) and pole dances at the Teen Choice Awards pre-party (though admittedly, she's really just spinning in circles). Why is there even a stripper pole at Teen Choice award? WTF party planners!

It's less the name than the spelling. I have a good friend named Noa, which is apparently a common girl's name in Sweden. Her sister's name is Gioia (pronounced Joy-a).
