I wouldn't worry too much. Unless someone acts really really dumb there won't be much of a problem. Last winter we had almost two weeks of street fighting and riots and save for the property damage there weren't any lasting effects. Blowing off some steam via civil disobedience isn't that bad. If a democracy is strong, it might even be a good thing.
