White Collar -USANetwork - Page 4

Laroquette was under-used in that episode. There should have been more of him and less of the Chechnyan guys.

They floated the "self-inflicted pain" idea of beating the poly in one of the Ocean's flicks with Livingston Dell.

Also, that black box recording was fairly innocuous. I don't know why those two lines would all of a sudden make Sara turn all nicey-nicey towards Neal.
I think her helping him out was more about the recording being specifically Kate talking to someone than what was said.
I didn't buy the Chechnyan guys going all gooey because their country's kids were being used in the scam. The second Burke told those guys that the kids were Chechnyan, they were ready and willing to help. I know they were cutting a deal, but the scene plays out like the reveal of the kids is some "a-ha!" moment for the thugs. So, if they had been German kids, would they have said "fuck it"?

Peter and Neal chemistry aside, Moz/Peter time is always great.

Loved the payoff at the end for Neal and his who will go see an art exhibit with him...
How much did Lambo pay for all that product placement?
Strong ep tonight, mostly for the way they handled Neal and Peter's trust issues with each other.

Yeah.. can't wait to see next week's about the music box and where it leads.
Goodness, I just love their bromance. Mozzie and Diana were cute together too, in a rivalry sort of way.
I did roll my eyes when Moz found the sheet music in her purse, though. For a trained FBI agent, that was beyond careless to leave sensitive information like that sitting right where a known con man could just look at it.
Unless she did it on purpose...dun Dun DUN. No, I get it, so since I don't want her to be stupid or careless, I think she did it on purpose.
Son of a... as much as I like the chemistry between Neal and Peter, I will not watch the show anymore if they kill off Moz.
Moz is NOT dead. This wouldn't the first time they've done some wild cliffhanger only for us to find out that things weren't as they seemed. Remember Peter supposedly being the big bad before we found out it was all bullshit? Moz was just sitting there in the open. He does not do that. Note that whenever he meets Peter in the park to chat about Neal, he's hilariously stealthy about it. He would not just sit there like a target. He's too smart for that. I'm willing to bet that what we saw was a little while after Peter, Diana, and Neal realized Moz was the target. His death is very publicly faked, and next season we'll see that he's alive but in hiding for his own safety. It'll be a continuation of his growing partnership with the Suits.

At least I hope it is, because this show's appeal is its lightness. Neal losing two people would send him off the deep end, and the show would go right along with him.

While I doubt Moz is dead... He is seriously hurt and that means some tail whoopin' pronto. I expect Peter and Neal to kick somebody's ass immediately. Good cliffhanger.

can't wait for it to come back.
No way Moz is dead. No way. I'm thinking Dresden (or whatever his name is in this) knew who he was and just shot to incapacitate him and deliberatly not kill him as a message. Good cliffhanger though, if I wasn't soooo sure that Moz is not dead. Which he isn't. He better not be. Ugh.

Wearing a bullet proof vest doesn't protect you if you're shot in the face. Really doubt Moz would've taken that risk. But I don't think he's dead either. He's too much of an asset to the show. The writers would be nuts to kill him off.

So glad that White Collar is coming back tonight! Can't wait.

Me too.  Happy I'm off work today so I can watch the marathon.

Excellent episode. Burke's 7 is an awesome crew. And I cannot believe what is instore for next week. Wigs, mustaches and more for a backstory episode. I"M STOKED.

They spoiled it in the promos that Mozzie was alive, so that wasn't a shock.  Glad the show's back because I missed Neal's suits, though last night's episode really highlighted just how useless Thiessen as Elizabeth is on the show.  She just shows up, kisses on Peter for a bit, and disappears.  She has nothing at all to do.  I get why she's there (to show Peter has a life outside of work), but as a character, she's a seat-filler.

But Tiffany made it Burke's 7!

Yeah. Why do you have to hate, Harley? Anyway, White Collar is becoming my favorite of the USA shows. This was a really good episode.

I'm not hating!  And come on, you gotta admit that you don't miss her when she's not around.

They came right out of the gate with that one. I was expecting it to be sort of hammy and melodramatic, with people shuffling around not knowing what to do while Mozz laid there asleep. But I was mistaken. Bam! Con. Bam! Peter gets played. Bam! Burke 6. Bam! Burke 7. Bam! Reveal of the music box secret. Bam! Preview for next week making me wish I had a time machine.

Oh, how I missed this show. The interactions remain top notch and the mystery is really heating up.

I loved Peter's "I think New York is safer if Neal Caffrey is lacking in at least one skill set." delivery. Priceless.

Enjoyed the back story episode.. especially the Neil met Kate part. Heck, we got everything from Moz to Alex to how Peter formed his team. How can you not like this show?

The stuff with Neal and Kate was surprisingly touching.  Poor guy was a goner the moment he laid eyes on her.

Loved the smoking jacket and smoking bag. I couldnt make the connection until it actually happened. Pretty slick move there.

NEXT WEEK: Billy DEE WILLIAMS! Hells yeah.

Billy Dee is looking old, but hey.. he's still slick as hell. Fun episode. I need me one of those flipping tables.

I really love this show. Adam Goldberg was weirdly captivating and Peter Mcguyvering his way out of a cage was great.

I think the finale is next week... I'm going to miss this.

FWIW, I believe that next week is billed as the last ep before the season finale.

It's a cute show, with occasional touches of enough edge to keep it watchable. DeKay's a big part of it: he's got to carry off the fond-but-prickly older brother/TV sitcom dad relation with Neal while still being halfway convincing as an FBT agent, and it mostly works.

season finale is next week... this has easily been my favorite show of the year.

Damn, that Hilary Burton is one fine woman.

This is definitely my favorite USA show right now. Not a difficult feat since Burn Notice has been in cruise control for a while now, though.

One of my favorite episodes of the season. Peter as Neal and vice versa was all fun and really showed the amount of learning the two have taken from one another, while still remaining themselves. Had a ridiculous smile on my face during every little 'Peter's talking about himself while Neal' or again, vice versa. A lot of fun and levity, and now...the finale! More Alex is never a bad thing, as this show can never have enough hot women.

not even bad CGI subs and a waste of Andew McCarthy can ruin my love for White Collar.  THAT Smile on Neil's face walking among the treasures was AWESOME. Can't wait for next season.

Really sick of hearing Kate's name.  I'm just sick of it.  That girl is like an albatross wrapped around the neck of this show, and she won't fucking go away.

I didn't have that ZOMG feeling that I had for the last finale, but it was good.  I LOVE Hilarie Burton's wardrobe.  Every single thing that they have put her in looks phenomenal on her.  God, I want this show's stylist to come shopping with me.  Save for Mad Men, this is the best-dressed cast on TV.

ETA: Am I the only one who rolls their eyes at the blatant product placement for that fucking Ford that Peter and Neal cruise around in.  It's obnoxious at this point.

God yes.  And it's not like they're showing any particularly cool features of the car. 'Look, it has a hands free system!  JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER FUCKING CAR FOR THE PAST THREE MODEL YEARS.'  It's not Right Guard on Eureka bad, but it's still pretty fucking bad.

Anyone else expect to see the Ark of the Covenant mixed in all that treasure?

Good finale, but I hope the Peter/Neal stuff gets resolved fairly quickly next season.  The chemistry between those actors is too good to have them on serious bad terms with eachother.

Severe underuse of Andrew McCarthy, felt like the writer's were in a hurry and didn't know what to do so, well, 'just shoot him, I guess'. is what they came up with. But ooh...this mystery is getting bigger and bigger and I love it and the look on Neal's face in the storage unit guaranteed that I would be seeing next season's premiere when it actually airs (and will endure the commercials because of it).

So who stole the stolen merchandise? Alex? Sarah? Someone even bigger and more mysterious than Adler? Maybe even, dare I say, Kate?

Television is a lesser place without this show on it. Love it.
