So, I just took the plunge on a new Sony Bravia Widescreen TV. The PQ is glorious, but there's one small problem nagging at me - It only started appearing after I changed a few settings around.
Basically, any movie that features the typical Widescreen black bars has a peculiar picture issue. Along the top of the bottom black bar, there is a thin white line of what appears to be distortion or "ghosting." This same issue effects the top black bar, but it runs along the bottom of this upper bar.
There's no evidence of this issue if I'm watching a movie that has an aspect ratio that fills the entire screen. So, if there are no black bars, there's no issue.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? It's small one, but it's distracting.
