Great review, Alex.

It's always amazing when a 3rd party Wii title is a quality effort.

Thanks for the review, I trust your reviews more than most gaming sites. I did not know there was a succesor to Odin's Spere in development. I love that game, it was one of the last games I bought for the PS2.
I guess this is reason enough to dust off the Wii.

This is one of those games that got lost in the rush. Wish I had the time/money to check this one out.

Seriously. Isn't that sad?

I'm not quite sure why they made this a Wii exclusive. Probably easier just to adapt their PS2 engine for the Wii, but if they pumped this sucker out on a next-gen console in HD I could see it doing some better business.

Also, you guys gotta see it in motion if you haven't already- http://www.gametrailers.com/video/la...masa-the/55699

Good review. I'm really digging the game, despite the repetition. And it really is beautiful. Street Fighter III might look better, but it's not as crisp/clean as this. The new King of Fighters is probably the only other game I can think of that has better hand-drawn visuals.

One question. I guess I missed something, but I never encountered that Squid-beast on my playthrough with the girl. Where is it?
