I hate this ad. Look at all these people leaning into the camera, imploring the viewer to report on their neighbors; the speakers carefully chosen to represent a multi-cultural fabric, with the exception of including any Arabs.

Besides, how many people would really actually happen upon "strange, terrorist-like activity?" What an obvious attempt at stoking paranoia; everybody in this ad would be reporting on each other.

Right! By my records, LAPD hasn't had any cred since Pat Paulsen and Murray Langston.

But yeah, it's pretty iTroubling. This is how you gently change them from schutzpolizei to geheime staats without anyone noting. As long as they don't hit on a way to crossmarket with shit like AVATAR, Salma Hayek's tits or Starbucks coupons, I doubt much'll come of it.

Law Enforcement seems to find unarmed , hand cuffed, prone black teenagers enough of a threat to execute them infront of a crowd. Perhaps they're better at detecting terrorism?

he's in some improv groups with one of the guys in my sketch group. i run into him at UCB, etc. all the time. introduced himself as michael. he seems like an alright guy, just hate this program a whole bunch.
