Meteorite-like object falls in Latvia

A meteorite-like object has created a crater after landing near a farm in northern Latvia, the nation's official news agency reported.

The object fell Sunday in Mazsalaca, leaving a hole of about 65 feet (20 meters) wide and 32 feet (10 meters) deep, Latvian emergency officials told the LETA news agency.

Scientists and armed forces from the northern European nation will inspect the crater and conduct an investigation.

Critical personnel have been dispatched from the United States as we speak...

Any minute now, our screens are all gonna flash and we're gonna forget all about reading this, to be replaced with memories of watching You Tube videos. Or maybe porn. That might be a more believable cover story. . .

No problem. With slightly exaggerated hick accent he says all the cliche things like "I've never seen anything like this", "I should check it out closer", but the real giveaway is when he keeps on repeating one line which sounds like a pg-13 version of "fuckin' hell" or "fuck off" - "ej dillēs" which directly translates as "go to dill". Yes, it doesn't make much sense, but it has already become a national catchphrase.
