Hell Yes!!!

Tonight at 6:30 I'm putting on my Dawn of the Dead shirt and driving the 15 minute drive to the old Edison Home. George A. Romero is going to be there because he will be getting an award from the Edison Film Festival. After the award cermony they will also be playing Day of the Dead on the big screen. This is great, nothing ever happens in this crap town.

Just got back from the Edison Film Festival and it was great. Met George Romero, had a nice conversation took some pictures, and got my Night of the Living Dead dvd signed. George was a great guy and very nice. As a plus Christopher McDonald was also there, took some pictures, had another nice conversation. Christopher McDonald is damn funny. Then at 8 we went outside to the theater were Bill Boggs started the whole thing. We watched some of Edison's movies, watched a tribute to George A. Romero, had some freaky lady dance for us, George got his award, then we got to watch Day of the Dead on the big screen which was great. Day of the Dead was also filmed in this very city of Ft. Myers and in Sanibal which is a 20 minute drive.
