Man alive, this show does not let up. Finishing very strong. Are we watching the slow disintegration of the Taylors' marriage? What seemed unimaginable at the end of S1 - especially in Buddy's eyes?

And the return of....MORSHOWER! "So, what do you think of Obama so far?" One of my favourite lines of the season.

Looks like the season will climax with a Dillon/East Dillon game.

Another great episode...the season is finishing strong.

Good article in variety comparing The Wire and FNL in both quality and, unfortunately, startling lack of awards notice.

The thing about the game next week is that if Coach loses, the town will hate him, but if he wins, they'll hate him even more.

Well, that was a pretty fantastic season.

I'm sure we all saw the outcome of the big game coming a mile away (I think I guessed most of it during last season's finale), but I'll be damned if it didn't feel earned. If Landry had missed the FG, it would have ruined my day.

Matt's, "... a girl" reaction to Landry feeling dumped was quietly hilarious.

And I'm secure enough to admit that the Riggins brothers caused my eyes to well up... just a little.

I was considering letting DirecTV lapse for the summer to ease my monthly bills, but I think I may keep it around just on the basis of them keeping this show from ending two seasons ago.

One more season to go!

Still trying to get my head around the finale...Great stuff.

Doubly bummed Ausiello has confirmed, no 6th season. But that's cool. Those of us who stuck with it since season one know how lucky we've been. Props to DirectTV and NBC for making this happen.
