ESPN's 30 for 30 Series

Has anyone been watching these? ESPN has been doing a pretty damn good job with them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/30_for_30 has the lineup for upcoming docs (Ice Cube!).

The Ali one they just ran is pretty heartbreaking stuff. I had NO idea what terrible shape Ali was in when he fought - it's akin to the same level of cringe whenever I hear that boxing commissions are still allowing Evander Holyfield to fight.

Even if you don't like sports these are worth checking out.

I'm watching it right now, actually. Good stuff, even if you don't like sports.

(Watch it with the closed captions on!)

Great series so far! I enjoyed the one dealing with the Colts Band, and the Ali one was heart breaking, the guy just would not stop fighting!

I'm really looking forward to Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks, Straight out of LA and the one dealing with Steve Bartman.

I know the series started off with bad ratings, just hope it keeps drawing a big audience with every week.

Loving the series; the Ali-Holmes doc was the best one by a mile so far.

The thing that got me was that after that fight, Ali fought another fight a year later! The guy's brain was applesauce even before Parkinson's set in. Sad.

The USFL story shue made me dislike Trump even more. With the way it was going before he showed up, we could still see the league around, or at least put more pressure on the No Fun League to lighten up a bit.
