Whats up with BRII?

Anyone out there got any new info on Battle Royale II? I just finished watchingthe first (again)(gods i love this movie!) and had to pop over tothe website andits all in ...Japanese? Chinese? Shitit could all be in carny for all i know-i just know i can'tread a damed thing!
And isit done bythesame director ( i'm pretty sure he passed away right?)...

I believe his son is directing the movie since he passed away. He did pass away right? If not then I know that he is directing it.

Fukasaku died some months ago (back in Feb., I think). His son has been directing the film since. The guy stuck in like a trooper until a few weeks before his death, if I remember right.

The main Sewer has a thread about the new trailer, by the way.

Wow. That is pretty intense. Hopefully, they take their time with the character development and honesty that made the first one so gut-wrenching at times. But as far as I can tell, it's looking good.

You know what...fuck you guys! (grin) I was over at my folks house and tried to look at that trailer, and fuck, the got a sweet setup, broadband and all that shit, and while the little counter at the bottom was running and the audio was uninterupted, the fucking video didn't play. It starts out on the warehouse with the 3 on it for 30 secoinds, then shows some guys face...FUCK! (looking for something to kick, preferrably a cute puppy dog)
So what is it? A continuation of the first or a whole new BR game/ And what kind of release date is it looking at (i.e.-is it gonna be out to own this year) (man i can't fucking wait!!!)
