I'm in, though I probably can't spend too much this year due to being between jobs. However, I'll do what I can.

I also prefer domestic.

Right on, then! Modifying the original guidelines as follows:

I'd like to keep the sign up open until November 27th, and post the pairings on November 30th. That's 3 weeks from now and gives people then 3 weeks to get something mailed for a Chanukkah/Kwanza/Christmas/New Year/Winter Solstice/Areligious winter gift exchange-- it should also give folks a chance to take advantage of post-Thanksgiving sales. As with prior years, we will go with a $10 minimum, anyone who wants to do more is welcome to do so.

As with all of these, please don't sign up unless you will actually participate.

Please give your handle or name and your country when signing up, and indicate if an international partner is OK or NOT OK with you. This will make my job easier, which I know is important to all of you.

Signup should look like this: (you can leave out "international" and just put OK / Not OK)

If this is open to international Chewers I’d be really up for being a part of it (given you can order stuff through Amazon.com/co.uk/.aus for delivery it’s not as hard as it used to be). I got some great stuff last year and I got a chance to inflict the League of Gentlemen on someone.

When I sent Spike's stuff, it was through Amazon.co.uk. He got it in a few days, shipping was maybe a dollar or two more than normal. Open your borders, guys.

Oy, vey! Like Carl, Russell and Dug, I'm Up this year too, so:

PsycheOut
Eurasia (PM me should you like to know more)
Domestic* or Int'l, no prob, I'm rich as fuck.

* Lesson learnt from last year, though: don't fuck around with US Customs when it comes to expensive beverages. With this also comes the promise that, Zardoz willing, I'll be on time for anything this year.

I missed out last year, so I'll get in this time.

Is this an "anything goes" type proposition or are there gift guidelines above and beyond the dollar minimum?

Either way,

Well, you ought to avoid sending things through the mails that might get you or the recipient arrested. As for dollar value, previous years have witnessed some insane examples of material generosity but it really is the thought that counts.

Should we establish a time limit on making (and confirming) contact with our gift givers/recipients before moving on?
