Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show

I'm surprised as to how good this was. Having almost two full hours of FG-Universe stuff last night wiped the shitty taste out of my mouth after the ass week I had. A lot of the stuff worked. I was worried during the FG sketch where they were all talking about which celebrity they wanted to fuck as to how bad it was going to end up, but it was a small hiccup in an otherwise funny little variety show. Anyone like it, asides from moi?

I was a little horrified by the Marlee Matlin riff they went on, until Matlin herself came out and called them on it.

But this was a pretty terrible show. If you're just going to trot up there and re-hash Family Guy bits, just do another episode of Family Guy.

Someone needs to destroy Seth McFarlane before the infection starts reaching other nights. Preferably with fire.

God-awfulness.

Wow, that's pretty harsh. I laughed quite frequently.

When it's just his vocals, I have no problem with McFarlane. But he seems to have this permanent look of smug superiority on his face which makes me want to shove something into it. Preferably a herd animal.

Weren't you the guy that thinks Frankencastle is great, too? Because I'm starting to see a pattern.

I caught this for 2 minutes, and it was really like I got an STD by a German walrus. Oh dear god, that sounded like something off Family Guy. See I knew something got to me, and I need to get rid of it.

If I was as successful as him, I'd be a smug asshole too. But I'm poor so I'm just an asshole.

Borstien doing Zellweger was CLASSIC.

So at what point does FOX move the Simpsons off Sundays altogether and give the whole night to McFarlane.

It was embarrassingly awful. I watched the whole thing like I'd watch the after math of a terrible car accident - through clasped fingers. Matlin ripping the table cloth off a random table as she stormed out was the ONLY laugh.

I'm honestly still enjoying American Dad. Is McFarlane not working on it anymore, or what? Because this, Family Guy, and Cleveland Show aren't only bad, but super old-hat.

Thought it was so-so. Seen worse. Seth's delivery on "Nah, it's a good song." had me laughing, though.
