Marvel's Super Hero Squad Cartoon

So, this looked on the surface like a Marvel cartoon catered to little kids, since it was based on the action figures they push for the younger folk. However, I watched an episode of it Saturday morning, and maybe it was just the sleepiness talking here, but I thought it was pretty funny. Maybe because it also was an episode dedicated to MODOK. One of my favorite moments:

MODOK's new power is draining the super powers from the heroes, including turning the Hulk into a skinny green guy, and due to which, his pants fall off. So the rest of the episode, he runs around holding up his boxers, until he does something with both hands, and his boxers fall down, to which one of the super heroes responds, "Come on Hulk, we don't want to lose our 'G' rating."

Also, MODOK spends most of the episode ordering the other super villains around, forcing them to make him snacks. I may have to start DVR'ing this.

It was pretty goddamn funny. If I had kids I'd force them to watch this. You can watch some online.

My favourite line on this show so far has been when they found Doctor Strange acting all weird due to one of the Infinity Fractals, Iron Man comments that he's off his rocker.

Thor: "Back onto your rocker, Wizard!"

For some reason, I lost it over this.

I seen this show this morning on Cartoon Network and was immediately aggravated about how many Marvel characters there were and why we don't have a good adult type Marvel cartoon, but I couldn't help but watch it and found it to be entertaining.

The episode I seen was Wolverine joining Captain America's captain squad.

Okay, thanks for posting that. Thanos is probably my favorite Marvel villain of all time, so that compelled me to watch this episode, but even without his presence I'm actually sold on this show. MODOK pretty much steals every single scene he's in, and Thor flat out rules. God damn it...why'd you guys have to go and get me hooked on a goofy kids show?

Yeah, that was pretty cool.

"For all their advances, the Skrull have never figured out how to make string cheese! String theorists are willing to pay a fortune!"

Also, Punisher's rant equating the less desirable members of society to "pieces of broccoli on your plate of macaroni & cheese" and the Squad's reactions is absolutely priceless. Far too much parody in that speech for kids to get.

Yes that was priceless, it also gets extra ponits for having Ray Stevenson voice the Punisher.

Punisher's Mac and Cheese freakout was the best thing I've seen from this show so far. Also,

"She-Hulk
Hmm.....maybe if I was alone."

Kid friendly Midget Tony Stark you devil!

Yeah, that was great. The missus found that one hilarious. She loves her some Tony (in any medium).
