Farewell, Lou Dobbs.

Dobbs has pulled a Palin and is hightailing it early. So where's he to next, Fox News? Radio? And, more importantly, does anyone care?

Glad that video clip helpfully tells me that if I want to be happy I need to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. And all these years I've been pursuing sex and booze...

Lou Dobbs needs to co-Host Art Bell's radio show at this point

I'm more curious to see what CNN replaces him with. The "we wish Lou the best in his future endeavors" spiel sounded awfully lovey-dovey; you wouldn't know he's leaving under pressure to stop embarrassing the network with his race-baiting.

He quit of his own accord, but like Jake said they sweetened the deal considerably. He still has his radio show and I am going to give it till December at the latest before he shows up on Fox. He's such an old-school racist. Like one of those guys who can say the shit that he says then genuinely wonder why people are calling him a racist. He sort of reminds me of the dad from "8 is Enough" in that picture, but with more hair...

Did anyone watch The Daily Show last night? Dobbs was on & Stewart introduced him with a mariachi band. It was fucking hilarious. The interview was great, Stewart was in top form. Matter of fact, the whole episode was really funny (most of it was spent ripping into Palin's book). Anyway, the whole interview is at the link below, & it includes online-only content because the interview length exceeded the show's runtime.

I was watching Koyaanisqatzi recently, and towards the end of the film his face appears on screen for .25 seconds. I guess after his ousting from CNN, life for Dobbs these days really is life out of balance
