I was unexpectedly moved by this vision of teenagers carving out their existence on another planet. Characters are warm and humorous, and there is subtlety in the transition to maturity. Story begins as a cat-and-mouse adventure tale, veers into Lord of the Flies territory and then finds drama in the pioneer spirit and building of a community. A wonderful read.
