I got 2 cartons of smokes here. No old lady though. Old man instead. Is that ok?

I thought your drawing was awesome, joon. I don't know about antics, but if you wanna come party with me, then:

His drawing was awesome. He's just playing the self-deprecating, "I'm not good enough" shit to try to get out from my clutches. Take his ass.

(I found it. Gonna use it again!)

The frail and vulnerable act is what I use to lure in dirty old men.

That's it in a nutshell. It's a choreograph and build a scene through sequential art (storyboards/comic strips) challenge. I'd really like to get a sense of how the kill would play out in the film (from set-up to pay-off). Thinking a minimum limit of 4 panels. It could be done in MS Paint. As with this challenge, I wouldn't be holding anyone to any unrealistic standards of artistic talent. Most storyboards sketched by directors are nothing but barely discernible thumbnail sketches before they send them off to an artist to refine. So it would be the conceptualization of the scene, how it is constructed, and the imagination behind it that would determine the winner. It was the complaints of the Platinum Dunes remakes of Friday the 13th and (supposedly) Nightmare remakes lacking in imaginative kills that got me thinking about this one.

But I'm also open to any other ideas. I still plan on starting a thread for suggestions for future challenges. I don't want theses contests to always center around a subject that I come up with.

Have we lost the ability to rate a thread? Or am I just an idiot? This thread deserves rating but i can't seem to do it.

I might be up for the design your own death scene. Would mixed medium storyboards be okay? I'm not very good at sketching so when I do storyboards for my projects I tend to take photos from the angles I want and then draw over them with the details I think the scene needs.

My stuff tends to have a collage vibe.

I'm open to a variety of different techniques being used for this. Photoshop, MS Paint, drawing, painting, pen & ink, sculpting, cg modeling....

I want to this to be a series of challenges open to anyone who wants to participate. I'm looking for ideas here. As long as you are being creative and putting in some effort to conceptualize an interesting an interesting idea for a topic then I'm cool with whatever techniques you use.

Also, don't hold me to that slasher kill scene topic being the next contest. I'm just throwing ideas out there. Although, I do like the idea of the next challenge being a sequential art challenge. It may b a week or two before I set the next one up , though. I'm a bit busy at the moment.

A storyboard of a superhero action sequence could be fun, and better than what we've seen in superhero movies so far.

Flat-out designing/storyboarding an action sequence in general would be pretty fun. I feel like a challenge like that should have some kind of setup/restrictions of what would come before and after the sequence.

I set up a topic suggestion thread.

So anything you got, and think would be fun, throw it in there.
