They were featured on Consumerist today, and the increased traffic promptly knocked their site down, so I'm curious if anyone here has any experience with them. Basically, they take your unwanted CDs and DVDs and send you an iPod in exchange. The quality of the iPod depends on how many discs you send in, and they'll rip your CDs to the iPod they send you for an extra fee. I guess they make money selling the used discs in markets where physical media is still in demands.

What I'm curious about is a) the reliability of the company (do you actually get what you ask them to send you) and b) the legality of the whole enterprise. This seems like something that would give the RIAA fits.
