I heard about this awhile back. The owners were even interviewed on a radio station here in Atlanta a couple of months ago.

It is a real commercial, but also kind of a joke. The owners seemed to know it was funny, but not in the way we think it's funny, if that makes sense. They made it to make people laugh and to get them to talk about it, but not to be ironic or make fun of people who are racist, etc.

I don't know, that's the first time I actually watched the commercial, and the singers definitely seem in on the joke.

Not sure why, but I find it amusing that Asians don't get any love. Reminds me of this Sealab quote:

"Oddly enough, persons of Asian status do not qualify under Article 4." "Yes... but why not?" "Well, for starters, anime."
