There, I said it.
Time and time again I've seen him say stuff that is just completely absurd. In fact, I swore off his program after he interviewed a racist woman during the 2008 DNC. He let her ramble on for MINUTES on air with racist ideas about Obama's birth. He asked her questions about her sources, and she just kept repeating "I wont tell you!". Seriously. And he kept her (a crazy woman, not a pundit) on air for like 3 minutes. His only response after this sad episode? "That's a point of view"
Seriously.
Anyway, he's done it again:
Quote:
President Obama has his chin out on just about every hot issue out there. Health care. Terror trials. Job losses." Matthews began. He then launched a series of aggressive questions going after many of the president's recent decisions. "Is he just too darned intellectual? Too much the egghead? Why did he bow to that Japanese emperor? Why did he pick Tim Geithner to be his economic front-man? Why all this dithering over Afghanistan? And who thought it was a wonderful idea to bring the killers of 9/11 to New York City, the media capital of the world, so they could tell their story?" |
"Dithering on Afghanistan"? Jesus Christ, Chris, do I need to play back your quotes on the Iraq War? You were a cheerleader with a homoerotic fixation on Bush's flight suit cod piece. "Dithering"? How about "Planning out the next 10 years of American military involvement in the middle east"? He better damn well take his sweet time. He's not planning a bachelor party
As for his question regarding 9/11 trials: SHUT UP. Did the President do this so "so they could tell their story"? No. He did it so that the people of New York could put them to death (I'm anti death penalty, but to suggest Obama did it to give the terrorists a better media platform is absurd. There won't even be cameras in the court room)
So anyway, that's what's pissing me off this morning

Watch the video, the text alone doesn't do it justice. Listening to his whinny nasal voice has become unbearable for me, and from this point forward I won't be tuning into his program again
