I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny.
Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...
Anyone else think they were going for a What About Bob reference with the name Dr. Leo Dreyfuss? And speaking of names, they totally dropped the ball with their fictional Africa nation. Zamibia? Come on. If ever there was an opportunity for Zamunda to be referenced, it was here.
I'm glad NBC dumps Heroes and not Chuck; Chuck is getting better and since they already have a cliffhanger as the season finale, it would've been a major shame if they just end the series right there.
Another great ep. I love how there is now a homage to...True Lies, in Chuck. Ellie, is going to be so mad at...Chuck, Sarah, Awesome, Casey, and Morgan for not including her, about her brothers real occupation as a...Spy.
I enjoyed this week's episode. It was nice seeing Ellie given something to do for a change and it's always nice to see Sam Beckett back at work. My only complaint is that Chuck keeping his possibly terminal condition from Sarah seems really forced and unnecessary. It doesnt become less dangerous if she knows about it so it just seems like they want to add more drama when really Id rather just take a break from relationship drama for awhile after three seasons full of it.
Looking forward to seeing some intersect vs intersect action next week, though really didnt Shaw already beat Chuck twice in a fight without the help?
Much more satisfying than the Lost series finale. Sad to see Bakula go as he was a great guest presence. Wonder who they are going to cast as the mom? They definitely opened things up to go in several directions. Fall seems so far away.......
Someone told me that Chuck is now a bad-ass, the buy more shit is largely over, and even the idiot friend is semi-cool at this point. Is this true? Does this show no longer suck?

While all that is true, in my opinion of course, I don't think it ever sucked. It took a few eps to find it's legs, but I was always very fond of Chuck.
No it still sucks. It's not 24, it's still built around a bedrock of comedy, and the Buymore characters look to still be important. It's a show that wears it's heart on its sleeve and that's why I love it.
Great finale, I loved Routh as the villain and it was heartwarming to see Morgan, Awesome and Ellie banding together.
I was afraid that Chuck's monologing would come back to haunt him. Luckily it didn't. And after the end of the first episode, I was really glad that I didn't have to wait a week for the Chuck, Sarah, and Casey breakout segment.
Once they killed of Bakula though, I was pretty sure they were going to move on to Mom. It'll be interesting to see how they incorporate Chuck's promise to his sister (that he also seemingly meant). And I really hope that he doesn't keep his dad's underground file room as another secret from everyone else.
I look forward to next season's finale, where Chuck decides to quit the spy game, only to discover he can't. (SPOILER!)
It was fun, even with the rehashed storylines. Highly disappointing lack of Strahovski though. She spent nearly the whole episode tied up and fully clothed; a terrible combination.
After the original season finale(episode 13) I didn't have very high hopes for the new one which I'd assumed would be a bit of a rush job since the extra episodes were tacked on later. I'm glad to see how wrong I was in that assumption, some of the lead up episodes were duds to some degree but this finale was really one of my favorite episodes of the series. It was really firing on all cylinders with everyone getting a part to play(though as noted before it did seem Sarah had little to do this week, clothed or otherwise). It was great to see Ellie finally find out about everything and be the only one not wanting to back down and go into hiding after the big escape. Hopefully her talking about the importance of family so much means that she'll jump on board with the new mission to find mom without too many weeks of drama while Chuck lies to her.
Looking forward to next season. Speaking of which, I know NBC announced it's new schedule with Chuck included but does anyone know if it'll be coming back in the fall or as a mid-season replacement when one of their terrible looking new shows get cancelled?
Now that...Morgan, and Awesome, have joined Chuck in the spy game with Sarah and Colonel Casey, it is time for...Ellie to become an agent. If both mom and dad Bartowski are spies, why not the older daughter/who raised Chuck?

fleed...what do you think of the Linda Carter idea for mom? Wouldn't that be a...WONDERful idea? Booyah!

You think it sucks, but you still watch it?
It's a light-hearted, very self-aware show. It's like listening to pop music. Very well made pop music.
Teitr Styrr, Lynda Carter would make a...WONDERful, Mary Bartowski. When I first saw...Chuck, I imagined Sarah Lancaster playing...Wonder Woman, with Lynda Carter as her mom, so I approve!
No I love it, I was being vaguely sarcastic due to the fact that Overlord is a cunt and if it was a show he LIKED I'd probably hate it.
Frankly, I don't understand how anyone could not like Chuck. It's such a funny, character-driven good time. It's like hating Ghostbusters(And I've met people that do!).
It's not hate-able. But it's certainly nothing fundamental. It's harmless. But it's also not very interesting to follow.
I liked the finale, even if every year they seem to go through the same arc. And Bakula had a target painted on him the moment he said goodbye to Ellie. ANd my god, Ellie following the truck, super trained spies and no one noticed her or the stupid team on Casey's car?

It's vanilla. Which is fine, i guess.
You don't watch Chuck for intricate or even that well-put together plots. Its a character-driven(And the writing there is very smart) show with very good acting. It wears its heart on its sleeve and is genuinely funny and good-natured.
People hating Ghostbusters are soulless robots, Cameron. Holy shit I can't believe there are actual people that don't like that movie!
People like that should not be allowed to reproduce.
Looking back on season three, I'd have to say the best thing the writers did was teaming Casey up with Morgan. It should be interesting to see what happens next season since it looks like Morgan has the hots for Casey's daughter. I'm guessing more broken thumbs in the future.
