His videogame girlfriend, it seems.

This week a church in Guam pronounced a man and his copy of dating sim Love Plus husband and, well, wife, and the happy couple will be hosting a reception in Japan that you are cordially invited to view tomorrow.

The unnamed man took his DS and the game to Guam where he said vows with to Nene Anegasaki, one of three virtual girlfriends featured in Love Plus. Tomorrow, the couple will have a reception held on Niconico Douga at around 12 p.m. (no time zone given, check local listings on the site, if you can read Japanese.) The media has been invited to attend; slides will be shown from their time dating up through the wedding.

Just...just...i cant even ponder this....except that at least this guy wont be murdering a real girl anytime in the future.

Since the wedding reception will take place in Japan, I think no.
Also, being a Simpsons fan, I cant help picture the wedding taking place in international waters.

Well, at least he won't be reproducing. So we got that going for us. Which is nice.

According to "Demon Seed", he could, but the DS has very small outlets.

I would usually laugh but after having and a four and a half year relationship implode recently, at least this guy will always know where he stands...

Just kidding this shit is ridicolous and is an embarassment to any one with even a slight interest in gaming :

Don't count your chickens, I suspect he might be packing a cancer shooting .45 in his chestvagina. Long live the New Flesh!

I'd prefer Julie Christie myself, but to each his own.

Oh, I can sympathize, sure. I thought one day that Capt. Marvel Jr. and I were destined to be married...

...but I was 10, and kinda shook off that notion by the 5th grade. (And as Tim correctly pointed out, so, I had that goin' for me...)

Ryoken, Can you plug the DSwife into a wall outlet? At least then the groom could...electrocute himself while trying to...consumate his marriage! Then it would "Be Game Over...Man" Bill Paxton Aliens.

Come on, Captain Marvel Jr. inspired Elvis's hairstyle and stage wardrobe; nothing wrong with that...it proves you had good taste since a young age, Lisa.

Alright, Lisa, who'd ya drop him for? Robin, the boy wonder? Kid Flash? Aqualad? As long as it wasn't Speedy (yeah he's a bad boy what with the drugs and stuff, but I know you're smart enough to not get involved with a guy like that).

She fell into that teenaged "bad boy" phase and went for MODOK.

Wise choice. I understand he's quite talented at certain sexual techniques....

....do the math yourself.

I'd get married to Assassin's Creed 2, if he asked me. I got it yesterday, and it's pretty much everything I wanted out of the first game (which I still really really liked).
