Also, they updated the page, apparently these were at a party celebrating her promotion to CBS Anchor. That dance certainly does look like the "I'm a lead anchor" dance.

Me and a friend were walking around in NYC a few months back and out walked Couric and her assistant talking to some CBS dude (I hadn't realized we were walking by the CBS news studio). I did a double-take - she's pretty hot in person (and for some reason taller than I thought she'd be).

White people have tried to appropriate the Electric Slide (Boogie oggie oogie oogie), but it will always be a decidedly Black dance.

Also, ain't no shame in my game. I request the song and start the dance at every wedding I've attended (and they are many). Here's proof circa 2004ish.

Yeah, she's one of the "whitest" people I know. She has Nordic ancestry and both she and her brother have bright blue eyes and blond hair. All our friends make fun of her (including her boyfriend) because her musical tastes are suspect. I mean, she has no knowledge of current music even though she lives in the heart of NYC, and her concept of "urban" music is Jurassic 5. We'll all go out and amid the jeans and t-shirts, she's got on pearls and a cardigan. Eh, whattya gonna do? We like her anyway.
