RIP Mininova

The Netherlands-based file-sharing website Mininova has removed all torrents that enabled users to download copyright-protected material.

Only used it for a few TV shows, but still it was a good source for stuff. wonder if the appeal will succeed.

I wish all this energy being invested in shutting these guys down would be put forward in resolving all the copyright issues revolving around launching a proper legal alternative international sources of online media.

QFT, I only want to have access to media online like HULU etc. The sites most chewers mention in every thread. If they found a way to send ads that matches the local offers (like Google is doing through CHUD and all the net) why can't they do the same.

Ever since Blu-Ray, watching .avi files feels dirty. I'm a legit consumer once again.
