Tiger Woods seriously injured in car accident - Page 2

Yeah, I'm surprised Tiger and his team handled this so poorly. With the information out now all but verifying that he cheated, and with multiple women at that, his team should have expected the shitstorm he's experiencing now and been a little more proactive. I agree with him that his private business is his private business, but when you're Tiger Fucking Woods and you sleep around, ain't no way in hell that person is going to keep that info on the DL; and if they're making money off of it, you best believe the others will want to cash in on it too. I mean, the woman played the voicemail asking her to hide their relationship to all of her co-workers. WTF.

If you sleep around (which you shouldn't do to begin with), do it with someone who would have something to lose - not gain - if the relationship got out. But, in the end, this all comes down to he and his wife and whether they want to try and repair the relationship, which she seems willing to do after she renegotiates the pre-nup (go girl!). Tiger's sponsers won't leave because there's no one else like him in golf; Nike could drop Kobe for a while because there's LeBron, Dwyane Wade, etc.

I doubt it. He's paying them off. Rachel Uchitel abruptly canceled her press conference today and the gossip sites are saying Rachel's lawyer is negotiating a $1 million payoff deal.

The sites also mention that Tiger signed a pre-nup deal that gives his wife $300 mil if they divorce, making it the most expensive celebrity divorce in history. $300 million dollars!!! Holy shit!!

Hold on...I thought that the Mel Gibson divorce was going to be around 500 million.
300 mill? I am guessing Elin doesn't share Jesper Parnevik's dismay over having introduced them.

Google says you're right. But then again, they haven't divorced. So Tiger would still get top prize if Ellin goes through with it.

Very true and more power to him - but that's hardly been the end of it.

His personal accomplishments shouldn't warrant a press release either. But if you're in the business of giving press releases, because that's part of the job you signed up for, then don't cry about it.
Tiger's a busy man. At least 8 women claim they've teed off with his club.

Also, I have no idea when this took place but LOL!

Hah! What a great picture, Diva. I love the look on Tiger's face. And the chick...what a strange position the camera caught her in.

Derek Jeter should just write a book called "Being Rich and Fucking a lot of Hot Women: THE RIGHT WAY" and sell it only to very rich, very public athletes for $500,000 a book.

An unidentified woman was taken from Tiger's home by ambulance at around 2:30 this morning. Reports also say a blonde woman followed the ambulance in an Escalade. Rumor has it the woman was Tiger's mother-in-law, and that his wife was the one following the ambulance.

Oddly enough, Isiah Thomas has stepped forward to say it was his daughter rushed to the hospital. That might just be a knee jerk reaction, though.

"Call Girls Out-Class Mistresses"
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-a...a:mostpopular3

Quote:
If you expect a married man's mistress to have better manners or ethics than a prostitute, simply because her heart or libido are involved, think again. Those very elements—love and lust—do not always lead to classy, mature behavior. Having a businesslike agenda from the start seems cold, but it results in a warmer ending.
Quote:
But here's the difference: prostitutes rarely engage in the type of behavior that Tiger's mistresses are engaging in now. Those prostitutes who blackmail and expose their clients are generally shunned by their peers, and rightly so. Unless a client has behaved badly or violently, his privacy is usually respected. This is a line that separates professionals from amateurs.

Jaimee Grubbs saved Tiger's voicemail messages and made them available to the media. A call girl, by contrast, is careful to remove the text messages from her cellphone, and even warns her customer when she thinks he's being too careless with his phone—as men are wont to be.

Also, unlike Grubbs, a pro doesn't have to be asked to anonymize her voicemail greeting, as Tiger apparently asked Grubbs to do in case his wife called her. For a call girl, sensitive to the etiquette of these situations, precautionary measures are second nature.

For those who haven't read it, I present to you The Jeter Sex Story:

I don't understand why any professional athlete would get married, especially one that's really good and popular.

What is the difference between Santa and Tiger Woods?

Santa only has 3 Ho's and only comes once a year.

I have a few hundred DVDs. One day, whilst perusing them, I discovered that I had two copies of Easy Rider. That's means that, at some point, I went into a store and bought a movie I already had, took it home, and stuck it on my shelf.

Same thing, really.

I heard on CNN, Tiger Woods Gatorade will disappear at the end of this year.

The should rename it "Fuck Juice".
A previously planned phase out. His Gatorade wasn't selling too well.
With Tiger's sexual prowess, you would think it would be flying off the shelves now.

Gatorade Tiger+ Viagra= Wifey's walking bow-legged tomorrow.

It's not going to help, but if Tiger used HGH to recover from his knee injury, I doubt most people would consider that anything close to cheating golf. I know I wouldn't.
I wouldn't, but isn't that becoming the excuse for all athletes? That's what Pettitte said and I don't think anyone bought it.
If the reports are correct, I'm not sure why anyone would think it was an excuse. The times the guy supposedly visited Tiger were when he was in the middle of rehab. If there's an established long-term relationship with the doctor, that's a lot different. I haven't heard anything along those lines... yet.
Funny how the original story of Tiger being possibly very hurt in a car accident has turned into the media frenzy and infidelity story that it has.
Tiger has lost his Gillette endorsement, and was dropped by Accenture, a consulting firm he was a spokesman for.

He still has Nike, AT&T, Tag Heuer, and EA Sports.
It looks like the wife is still pushing for a divorce as well. He might want to go the Hulk Hogan/Dennis Rodman route at this point and just embrace the image of being a complete and insufferable dick. He has the Stanford pedigree for that and Blasian could work as the title for an EA release. Hell, they have cut scenes for that pre-rendered for them right now.

And now it's turning into HGH and steroids. They showed pics of him from 99 to 07 and it's Bonds like.

Bill Plaschke was on ET talking about his column. Mentions him looking like Bonds and his connection with a doc who deals in HGH.

Drugs would ruin Tiger.
Jesus this is turning into a really ugly media dogpile

I wonder how much is the inherent lust to destroy of these reporters, and how much is caused by years of Tiger being a dick to reporters
post #81 of 167
God I hate Plaschke.

I want a bottle just so I can glance at it to make sure I strike that badass pose correctly in the mirror while hittin it, American Psycho style.
Look, I'm in no way condoning him fucking around on his wife, but come on with the endorsements being dropped. I understand his image is taking a beating right now, but if you took away endorsements from every sports star who got some on the side, none of those guys would have endorsements. This is absurd.

There's a report Tiger has cost companies 12 billion dollars since Thanksgiving.

Not because he cheated, but because he went on hiatus. If he's not golfing, he's just another dude.

Well, the big shoe has dropped -- AT&T has dropped its sponsorship.

There was a rush on Twitter yesterday to make the "THEY DROPPED SOMETHING OTHER THAN A CALL" joke.

And now there's a new study showing that the scandal has actually earned Tiger's sponsor's $1.8 Billion

Pass on Plaschke. Read Buzz Bissinger's essay from next month's Vanity Fair.

Damnit! I knew I should have posted the link when I saw it...now I can't find the 1.8 B number but did find this:

Some economic analysts, however, have questioned the accuracy of the UC Davis study, although they acknowledge that Woods' own marketable value as a subject for corporate endorsement has been badly hit by the scandal.

From here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20091231/ts_nm/us_att_woods

I have to say it's very odd that a study that has not been vetted by the academic community is being touted as if it were gospel. Actually why should I be surprised? Academia whored themselves out long ago

Ha! Ha! The gossip site where I get all of my "news" always manages to find the best photos. Oh yeah, and Tiger alledgedly banged dudes.

Nevermind, it's working now... reaction in a minute.

REACTION: If you can't trust a whore, who can you trust?

Well, after going everywhere, winning a ridiculous amount of trophies, earning billions of dollars, becoming the face of sport and hooking up with countless women, what else are you going to do?

Yeah, totally believable story, sure.

Nah. Nike is the "big shoe" (God forbid and pun intended). He uses their clubs and has their swoosh on his hat, footwear, and shirt. But if they do decide to drop him, he can always claim that Nike's "Just DO IT" motto pushed him to cheat.

He'll break his 10 WEEK silence tomorrow. His statement is said to be about 7 minutes long, and he will answer no questions.

My theory, he's gonna be blunt, and sort of prickish. He's been through rehab, so he's cured, and there no sense talking about the past. Just watch him play and start buying his shit again.

Wait, 10 months?
Has it really been 10 months?

I'd love it if he just said, "I'm playing golf again. Everything else is none of your damn business."

Everyone is assuming the timing is because Friday is the last day to enter the tournament in Phoenix next week, but it probably doesn't hurt that it's also in the middle of the tournament sponsored by Accenture, one of the companies who dropped Tiger.
yeah, what the hell? Hasn't it been 3-4 months?
