Computer Speakers are making noises; need help

Thread Starter
I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on the PC last week (the computer can run it) and now I'm experiencing some weird speaker problem. Basically it makes a rumbling noise from the speakers whenever sound is playing. If there isn't any sound there's no rumble. It's weird. This just started happening Saturday morning so I doubt its Windows 7. It's a legit copy of Windows too.

I got a new computer back in August and had the evaluation copy of 7 on it and no problems with the speakers then either. There were no problems with the speakers after the format and re-install.

It's a Logitech X-620 sound system so it's pretty old but I don't believe thats the issues either.

Any ideas?

EDITED TO ADD: I should mention that it does this with any type of sound. Not just iTunes or Media Player. YouTube and the little clicky noises Windows makes when you open a folder, it does it.

EDIT #2: All the cables are fine and in good condition and are plugged in the right spots on the back of the PC.

Bad sound card? I had a similar issue when my internal card crapped out.

How do you have it hooked up? 6 channel analog? Any chance your driver or channels or something got mixed up so the subwoofer audio is going to the wrong place?
