Sorry if I was harsh, exaggerated, or came off as condescending, I just meant IMO for this type of generally episodic and intended to be "fun" show, with a deliberately mysterious backstory, it's not abnormal to see this type of characterization and degree of development for a co-star.... especially 12 episodes into a network show.

I'm not saying it couldn't be done better, and mcbride used better, but I think its perfectly adequate as I said... In some ways its still finding its overall tone, like a lot of shows this many eps in.

So for all those reasons, I just think your expectations were a bit unrealistic and too high.... I don't mean to offend, I just think for this type of character, in this type of show, that's only this far in... this is pretty much par for the televisual course.

The NZ Natural, There is no greater scene in...The Human Target, than when...Chance piloting a passenger jet, flips the plane upside down, to put out a fire!

That was great,. but I liked it better when they were fighting in the landing gear as it was flipping back!

Yay:

http://livefeed.hollywoodreporter.co...ight.html#more

The Good News:

Renewed.

The Bad News:

New Showrunner, Matt Miller (Chuck) to replace johnathan steinberg (who will remain exec prod).

The Only-Decent News:

its "expected" to get 13 eps.

All in all, a win, but I always worry about a new showrunner, and with good reason.

Bad news for Lie To Me. This mean Chuck is finally getting cut?

Great news though.

Anywatchin Angel, Finally getting cut? Why hate on...Chuck? I am glad to see...The Human Target return, though.

it getting renewed too, its in the article....

and EW says chuck is gonna be renewed too, according to their sources, and despite the most recent eps still getting crappy and crappier ratings.

yeah I heard that too, and I like the show too... much better version of the procedural than the vast majority of what's out there. And so far they've done a good job of keeping it interesting and making what could have become old after a couple eps, into something that's able to be and feel wildly different from week to week (in a good way).

If I had to pick one it'd be HT though. In an instant. Just more up my alley and more unique for weekly television than any procedural crime-solving show could be in this day and age, where its oversaturated the fictional tv marketplace to a truly startling degree.

Season 2 was supposed to start this Friday, but has been moved back to mid-November.

Now that Lone Star is dead Lie to Me is getting its timeslot. That means Human Target gets Lie to Me's start-date, Wednesdays at 8 starting Nov 17th. Better there than the certain death of Friday nights.

Yeah, I'm very happy. I mean, the show's new direction/cast/showrunner could all be a failure and it might suck, but at least it's been given a shot.

New direction?

New regular female characters, more "personal" missions for Chance and no more full orchestral scores by Bear McCreary. All from a new show runner who used to produce Chuck (ugh) and hadn't seen Human Target until he got the gig. I'm a bit worried.

I love Chuck, but this is not good. Who knows. Maybe it'll work. This show was this close to being cancelled.

Bummer. I was never a huge fan of the show but I always thought the score was excellent. Maybe even more excellent than the show needed.

stelios, I am not pleased at all by, the...Massive, re-do of, The Human Target. Sure the show needed better...ratings, but, there was no need for such radical change.

So during fringe last night there was a popup logo for human target season premiere ... TONIGHT?!?!?!

I thought the last news had it as november....

Yeah, that was some sloppy promo work. I don't know how these things work, I guess once it was added to the episode it couldn't be removed at such late notice? I always figured the on screen promos are just separate tracks overlayed onto the main one. Weird that it wasn't removed.

Fridy. Night. Death. Slot.

Anyawatchin Angel, Well, now, that...The Human Target is returning to wednesday nights, that...Death Slot will not be a problem. I could see that the promo wasn't removed as that decision happened on just...2 days ago.
