Not really, but Smilin' Jack has a great article up on his site about why 'Jason X' is not being released it August, and when we might actually see it. Check it out, you'll be glad you did.

that was a great article, jack.

it really helped to put the delay into a perspective i had not considered.

i have been getting worried about jason x lately, but if you say it is "fun as hell" than that is all the encouragement i need. i will doubt no more.

Hate to say this, but I can't see the masses going to see either one of them no matter when they are released.

But I want to see Jason X more of the two...

Djang is probably right (that hurts to say ), since anything with a large number such as 8 or 10 is not going to suck in anyone but hardcore fans to begin with. If given good word of mouth, I'm sure 'Jason X' will triumph of the two films, however, whereas 'Halloween 8' is going to suffer great discomforts in the box office world.
